Our fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, who serve in our armed forces, deserve our deepest gratitude and appreciation, and more. We stay safe and secure thanks to our army, navy, marine corp., air force, and coast guard. They risk their lives so we can hold onto ours. They are all our heroes, our vanguard, and the honor, respect, and support we owe them really doesn’t come close to what they deserve.
We try, in small ways, to repay our military for their service and sacrifices. Our veterans are entitled to benefits for their service to our country, to us. They are exceptional among the ordinary; and, they rightly receive special treatment. They receive free medical services, and are eligible for a variety of discounts when they shop. Included in these benefits are free cosmetic surgical services for our military.
Free Cosmetic Surgery Service for Our Military.
Our service men and women who serve abroad, and most especially in war-torn countries, very often come home with physical injuries and/or psychological trauma. Sometimes their suffering can be helped and overcome, but sometimes their suffering is indeterminable. As it should be, our government is able to and ready to help them as much as possible; and it does so at no cost to our veterans. For instance, should a soldier get shot during his service, he/she will be taken care of by the government. If a military man or woman looses a limb, the government will provide for them through their recovery and rehabilitation. Another example might be a wingman/woman who suffers from recurring nightmares about one particular air battle during their service. He/she might be unable to cope on his/her own, and they may require counseling or long-term therapy in order to overcome the demons that followed them home.
They may be home from the war, but they are not yet free from the horrors they encountered; and their lives suffer for it daily. Sometimes, a make-over in the way of free cosmetic surgery can help our military regain a new outlook on life and on themselves. It may be a superficial way to bury the scars, but it sure can be a fun and invigorating way.
Physical wounds will sometimes heal, but the resulting damage is disfiguring and painful to see. If and when that is the case, free cosmetic surgery for the military is available to our service men and women whether they have finished their tour(s) of duty or are still actively serving our country. Our service men and women don’t have to suffer lifetime disfigurement. Their physical wounds can be attended to with cosmetic surgery which in turn gives them an opportunity to re-socialize into their communities and lead productive lives.
Our military should take advantage of the free cosmetic surgery available to them wherever and whenever it is accessible to them. Facial disfigurement can be changed, and scars from burns or bullets can be healed and covered. Seeing ourselves as whole, not fractured, is very important for our psyche and our psyche is vital to the healing of our soul.
